Access Information and Referral (AIR) is the centralized intake and referral point for all developmental services in Wellington County.

A Developmental Disability is a significant life-long limitation in intellectual and adaptive functioning. A psychological assessment documenting this diagnosis (IQ up to 70 or overall intellectual functioning at or below the 2nd percentile prior to the age of 18 as per the DSM- IV-TR) is required. A diagnosis within the Autism Spectrum also qualifies an individual for Developmental Services.

At Access Information and Referral, we:

  • provide information on what services are available
  • offer support on how to navigate the system
  • determine eligibility & priority rating for services
  • process referrals & manage wait lists

We are here to give you access to the information you need by answering your questions, determining your eligibility for available services, and making any referrals you need to the services and supports within the developmental services system.
