Ontario Disability Support Program

The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) provides “Income Support” for people with disabilities who are in financial need.

Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Employment Supports provides practical assistance to people 16 years of age or older with a disability to find and keep employment or start their own business.

Other examples of ODSP Employment Supports include:

  • Help with preparing for work, finding the right job, and keeping the job
  • Tools, equipment, specialized training, special clothing, and software & mobility devices required to perform well
  • On-the-job training & help with moving forward in a career
  • Assistance with starting a business, including training on financial planning, marketing, and developing & implementing a business plan
  • Help with obtaining work-related disability supports, such as assistive devices and technical equipment, interpreter, intervener, reader and note-taker services
